The Communications Department publishes American Veteran magazine, maintains this Web site and reaches out the to local and national media in order to inform the public of the important issues facing America's veterans as well as the great things AMVETS is doing about those issues.

The Communications Department is always working to better inform members of AMVETS and its various organizations. Through the quarterly magazine, Web site,
e-mail blasts, direct mailings and paid advertising, the Deparment strives to reach
each member at least a dozen times per year.
