AMVETS prides itself on providing America’s veterans with benefits and services they have earned through their honorable military service, ensuring the uniformed services are adequately funded to continually protect our Nation, and not forgetting those service personnel who are listed as POW/MIA. Annually, AMVETS sets legislative goals aimed at helping identify and implement the solutions to secure these goals. These goals are set by AMVETS adopted resolutions. To reach these goals, we work closely with Congress and the administration, urging the passage of legislation which reflects AMVETS’ agenda.
