AMVETS LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
January 22-24, 2010
From the Commander:
I am excited to invite you to this year’s AMVETS Leadership Conference!
The purpose of this conference is to provide a meaningful educational opportunity to all AMVETS in the area of organizational leadership. Whether you are currently in the leadership of our organization, aspiring for leadership or just interested in enhancing your personal growth, this leadership conference is for you. Effective organizations have effective leadership models that integrate the interests and goals of the stakeholders to achieve success for the organization. The participants will learn how the leadership of effective national/departments/posts – staff, volunteers and subordinate groups working collaboratively can lead to organizational success.
During this year’s conference our focus will be on working together. There is no doubt that working together gets results but it also enhances productivity. In that respect, this conference will also discuss ways to collaborate and increase effectiveness. Participants will learn techniques for and way to identify opportunities to expand the AMVETS message through meaningful partnerships.
The presenters will share opportunities facing AMVETS in particular and non-profit organizations in general and lead a discussion with participants about the relevance of those findings to AMVETS with the key being effective execution.
I again invite you to take advantage of this outstanding learning opportunity and to expand your understanding at the same time. Please don’t hesitate as space is limited. Register today!
