AMVETS LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

Conference Focus:  Managing Business/Dealing with People

The purpose of this conference is to provide a meaningful certificate education opportunity to all AMVETS in the area of organizational leadership.  Whether you are currently in the leadership of our organization, aspiring for leadership or just interested in enhancing your personal growth, this leadership conference is for you.  Effective organizations have effective leadership models that integrate the interests and goals of the stakeholders to achieve success for the organization. The participants will learn how the leadership of effective national/departments/posts – staff and volunteers, work with committees and other groups to achieve organizational success.

What has worked in the past may not be a model of success for the future. This conference will also discuss ways to evaluate the programs and services currently offered and determine what should go and what should stay.  Moreover, participants
will learn techniques for assessing what members are seeking and how to meet
those needs.

The presenters will share key issues facing AMVETS in particular and non-profit organizations in general and lead a discussion with participants about the relevance of those findings to AMVETS with the key being effective execution.
