Through recorded interviews and other documents, the Veterans History Project will chronicle veterans’ and other citizens’ wartime experiences, and the effect these experiences had in their lives. AMVETS is an official partner in this valuable program to honor our nation’s veterans and those who served in support of them. The Veterans History Project is a part of the Library of Congress and its American Folklife Center.

How to Participate in the Project

Resources for Partners

A participant may be a veteran, an interviewer, or person donating a veteran’s collection (learn more about what we collect). Organizations may participate as partners (see Resources for Partners on the right) and there are special resources for educators and students.
