AMVETS PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS AVAILABLE

Thirty-second audio clips highlight critical AMVETS programs and services

LANHAM, Md., Jan. 12, 2011—Today AMVETS released three radio public service announcements available for download at www.amvets.org/resources/PSAs.html.

The 30-second audio files highlight AMVETS’ participation in the VA Voluntary Service program, free VA claims assistance from AMVETS National Service Officers, and AMVETS’ Task Force DVD donation program.

AMVETS posts and departments are encouraged to share the PSAs with local radio stations for use in public service airspace, or to post on their AMVETS family Web sites.

More public service announcements are in the works highlighting other critical veterans’ issues and AMVETS services. Check back regularly at www.amvets.org for details.
