AMVETS NEC Meetings
ALERT: The next AMVETS NEC meeting is March 7 at 9 AM inside the new National Headquarters in Washington, PA.
NEC Reports are due 30 days prior to each meeting. Each NEC member from each Department are expected to file a report. The deadline for the March NEC book is February 6. Reports should be filed using the webform at NEC Reports.

The NEC Reports Book is posted on this page below in PDF format in advance of the meeting once complete. Hard copies will be provided to NEC members at the meeting.​
Spring Meeting
The National Executive Committee (NEC) for AMVETS, the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary, and the Sons of AMVETS meet in March every year, splitting time between Washington, D.C., and Washington, PA, the new home to AMVETS Family National Headquarters.

The 2026 AMVETS Spring NEC meeting will be held March 7, 2026, in the NHQ Auditorium, starting at 8:30 AM ET.
​

Hotels
AMVETS National Headquarters will contract with hotels near the meeting site, offering discounted room rates and shuttle services. Details and links will be published here this fall.
Airport shuttle
If you are flying into Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) for the national meetings in March, AMVETS National Headquarters will provide free rides from and back to the airport.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY
First pick-up of the day will be at PIT at 0830. The shuttle will run every 90 minutes. Please meet at Door 6 (just outside the Delta baggage claim). Final pick up will be at 2200. (Approximate times: 0830, 1000, 1130, 1300, 1430, 1600, 1730, 1900, 2030, and 2200)

SATURDAY
Shuttle runs will depart from NHQ every 90 minutes, starting at 1430. Final departure will be at 1900. (Approximate times: 1430, 1600, 1730, 1900)

SUNDAY
Shuttle runs will depart every 90 minutes from each of the official hotels, starting at 0500. Final departure will be at 1600. Schedules will be posted at the front desk of each hotel.

The shuttle vans don't have a lift. The shuttle will not run during major meetings & events at NHQ.
Hotel Shuttle
AMVETS Family National Headquarters will run a free shuttle between the
new NHQ building and the hotels. The schedule for 2026 will be published here this week.​

Ribbon Cutting
The new AMVETS Family National Headquarters opening will be celebrated with a momentous ribbon cutting ceremony at 1 PM on March 7. Doors open at 12 PM. Do not miss this historic moment!​​
AMVETS NEC Reports
Each voting member of the AMVETS National Executive Committee (NEC) is responsible for submitting a report for each Fall, Spring, and Pre-Convention NEC meeting. Please use the form at NEC REPORTS to submit yours no later than 30 DAYS PRIOR to the meeting. Alternatively, you may email your report to media@amvets.org.
